Join Davison Travelers on March 13th for the Detroit Oddities and Illusions Bus Tour. Our first stop will take us to John K. King Used & Rare Books. It is Michigan’s largest used bookstore and an absolute legendary literary destination. Located in downtown Detroit, this iconic, four-story former industrial glove factory houses an overwhelming collection of more than 1 million books, vintage magazines, maps, and rare collectibles. This is an oddity of sorts in today’s digital age. Our next stop takes us for a lunch on own down in Detroit’s Greektown District. There are many restaurants to choose from for any size budget and don’t forget to grab dessert at Astoria Pastry Shop. Our final stop on this tour is at the Museum of Illusion. It is one of downtown Detroit’s newest and most popular immersive attractions. Located in the historic Himelhoch building right on Woodward Avenue, this 9,000-square-foot facility features over 60 mind-bending, hands-on optical illusions and holograms. It is highly interactive and specifically designed to challenge how your brain interprets reality. Get ready to have your mind blown on this unique and interesting bus tour!
