Join Davison Travelers on February 20th as we head down to Detroit for a Historical Mystery Church Tour guided by award winning Detroit History Tours. Since Detroit’s founding as Fort Pontchartrain Du Detroit in 1701, religion has played a massive role in shaping the architecture, alliances, and hearts of our citizens. Known the world over as “The City Of Churches” the Motor City has some of the most amazing churches in the world. Join Detroit History Tours as we visit three mystery historical churches. You’ll learn the stories of the architects who built them, the parishioners who embraced them, and the leaders who helped them thrive. This tour is not evangelical and instead will focus on the history of these magnificent spaces. Together with your Detroit History Tours guide you’ll tour the inside and outside of each building with onsite experts, and learn some of the stories of Detroit’s religious past on board the bus enroute to each location.
