Join Davison Travelers on September 12th as we head up US-23 (Route 23)on Michigan’s coastal sunrise side. We will start our tour off by visiting the Tawas Pointe Lighthouse on the Tawas Point State Park. This is a historic, operational lighthouse known as the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”. The tower, featuring a white tower and red brick keeper’s house, offers 85-step climbs for views of Lake Huron. The next stop takes us to downtown East Tawas. While here you can enjoy a lunch on your own at one of many restaurants from G’s Pizzeria, Jack’s, Barnacle Bill’s, or Mexican food at Mango’s. After that stop in to the old Ben Franklin for some shopping or grab chocolate at Village Chocolatier or gourmet pickles from Freakin’ Pickles. If there’s time take a stroll grab an ice cream cone and walk the Tawas Pier. Now we start heading home and on the way, we’ll stop for wine tasting at Modern Craft Winery in AuGres. Owned by a old friend Tom Nixon, he’s sure to make your wine tasting a memorable one. Then it’s a place you guys have asked to stop numerous times. We will make our way to Pinconning to shop at Northwoods Wholesale Store for our final stop.

6:30 AM – Pick-up at Meijer Davison (Lot H)
8:00 AM to 8:45 AM – Quick Rest and Breakfast Stop (McDonald’s, Pinconning Rd, Exit)
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM – Tawas Pointe Lighthouse
11:15 AM to 1:30 PM – Downtown East Tawas
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Modern Craft Winery
3:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Northwoods Wholesale Store
6:15 PM – Return to Meijer Davison

– No cancellations or changes can be made after September 8th.
– There is a $25.00 per person re-booking and cancellation fee if cancelled before September 8th.

3. Each Attendee must be listed for check-in. Please give full name of each of your guests.
4. At checkout enter your billing information and payment information and submit.
5. Double check your emails before your submit. You must wait for the confirmation screen to come up before you exit.
6. The website will email you a ticket, but this is for confirmation purposes only.
7. Check-in at the bus the day of the trip. We will have your name on a list.
