Join Davison Travelers on October 17th as we head up to Mid-Michigan to tour Marshall M. Frederick’s Sculpture Museum, enjoy a Polish lunch buffet a Krzysiak’s House Restaurant, and witness amazing Fall Colors at Dow Gardens and the Longest Canopy Walk. Our first stop takes us to the campus of SVSU and Marshall M. Frederick’s Sculpture Museum. The main gallery is a stunning, light-filled space housing over 200 of Fredericks’ monumental figurative sculptures, public memorials, and striking white plaster molds used in the bronze casting process. See a replica of Fredericks’ Studio complete with the exotic tools, sketches, and casting equipment he used to create his masterpieces. Fredericks is nationally and internationally known for works like the Spirit of Detroit, Christ on the Cross (located at The Cross in the Woods), and various whimsical animal sculptures. Next, I hope you brought your appetite along because you’re about to have a delicious Polish buffet that has been a Bay City favorite since 1973. Now for our final stop to Dow Gardens and the Longest Canopy Walk. Fall is the perfect time to visit, as the elevated pathways offer spectacular views of the changing tree leaves, re-established orchards, and scenic forest ponds.

8:00 AM – Pick-up at Meijer Davison (Lot H)
9:30 AM to 10:45 AM – Marshall M, Frederick’s Sculpture Museum
11:15 AM to 12:30 PM – Krzysiak’s House Restaurant
1:00 PM to 3:45 PM – Dow Gardens and the Longest Canopy Walk
5:00 PM – Return to Meijer Davison
Registration Deadline: September 23rd, 2026
– Limited seating available!
– Cancellation before September 23rd will not require a replacement, but will incur the cancellation fee.
– Cancellations on and after September 23rd to October 13th will only be refunded if a replacement is found.
– No cancellations or changes can be made after October 13th.
– There is a $25.00 per person re-booking and cancellation fee if cancelled before October 13th.
– If you wish not to incur the fee, you are welcome to find your own replacement and notify us of the attendee changes.
BOOKING INFORMATION: (Please read)
1. Go to the ticket below and put down the number of attendees in your group. Hit the + / – sign to add or subtract attendees.
2. The first Attendee is you if you are attending. Please fill out the information for each attendee if you know it.
3. Each Attendee must be listed for check-in. Please give full name of each of your guests.
4. At checkout enter your billing information and payment information and submit.
5. Double check your emails before you submit. You must wait for the confirmation screen to come up before you exit.
6. The website will email you a ticket, but this is for confirmation purposes only.
7. Check-in at the bus the day of the trip. We will have your name on a list.
