Eastern Market Detroit Bus Trip
Featuring: MexicanTown
We’ll start the day off at Eastern Market. You will have about 2.5 hours to enjoy the largest outdoor farmers market in the nation, encompassing more than 43 acres and founded in 1841. It is a large hub for the Michigan food industry with farmers, retailers, wholesalers and vendors.
I hope you worked up an appetite because we’re heading down to Southwest Detroit better known to many as MexicanTown. You’ll have 2.5 hours here as you’ll need time to grab lunch at one of the great restaurants on Bagley Street (MexicanTown, Taqueria Lupitas, Evie’s Tamales, Xochimilco, or Los Galanes). The choice is yours as lunch will be on your own. Afterwards grab a gift at Xochi’s Gift Shop and make sure you grab dessert at La Gloria Bakery. No stop is complete without a stop at Honeybee Market. There is an incredible selection of fresh produce. Especially inviting is the vast array of hot peppers. Similarly, you can find spices there that can be difficult to come by nearly anywhere else in the state.

Itinerary:
7:30 AM – Report Meijer Davison (Lot H)
9:30 AM to 12:00 PM – Eastern Market
12:15 PM to 2:45 PM – MexicanTown
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM – Honey Bee Market – La Colmena
5:30 PM – Return to Davison

– Must be at least 5 years of age to attend the trip.
BOOKING INFORMATION: (Please read)
1. Go to the ticket below and put down the number of attendees in your group.
2. The first Attendee is you if you are attending. (We Need your Name and Email Address if attending)
3. Just put down the names of the other attendees and then check out.
4. At checkout enter your billing information and payment information and submit.
5. You will receive a ticket for each attendee. If you entered their emails they will get the ticket.
6. Check-in at the bus the day of the trip. We will have a list of all attendees.
