DESCRIPTION:Detroit Auto Show 2027\nFeaturing: The Original Buddy’s Pizza and Sanders Chocolate Shoppe\nGet on the Interest List – – Scroll below to get on the list!  \nJoin Davison Travelers on January 16th as we head down to the Detroit Auto Show.  Detroit was the birthplace of the American Automotive Industry and the celebration of this industry started with the very first Detroit Auto Show back in 1907 at a beer garden near the Belle Isle Bridge\, inspired by early European auto shows.    In 1989 it became known as the  North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) to match its international status before returning to the Detroit Auto Show in 2025.  Enjoy over 40 major automotive brands\, featuring interactive floor displays from global makers and domestic favorites.  Also you will enjoy test track experiences and other special attractions.  After the Auto Show\, we’ll head to where the Original Buddy’s Pizza first started and Detroit’s original Detroit Style Pizza. \nThe Auto Industry shaped this iconic pizza.  In 1946\, August “Gus” Guerra and employee Concetta “Connie” Piccinato looked for heavy-duty baking vessels to create a thick\, Sicilian-style pizza at their neighborhood tavern\, Buddy’s Rendezvous\, on Detroit’s Eastside.
